Essay disguised as Speculative Fiction
During my days as a part-time Humanities student at Memorial University of Newfoundland I collected some of the essays above with others in a "Journal" that was examined at the end of the programme. As the first chapter of the Journal I tried some Adorno-esque writing which says something about empiricist ethics, but not in a very direct way. Sonnetary Confinement (Poetic self-indulgence) For a course on autobiography, I created a hypertext account of my adolescence. This was supposed to illustrate how carefully-constructed hypertext allows readers to shape narrative just through their link choices. Or something.
